lunar new year 2027

A celebration of Chinese culture, bringing communities together.

For Lunar New Year 2027, Random and Red Blue are bringing together the Chinese and Dutch communities in Amsterdam for a celebration of culture, food, art and storytelling.

Chinese culture has been part of Amsterdam for generations, yet many of its traditions and stories remain unfamiliar beyond the community. We want to bring these worlds closer together, creating an opportunity to meet, share experiences and discover something new about one another.

We're developing a programme that celebrates Chinese Dutch heritage while looking towards the next generation. A gathering for those who grew up with these traditions, those discovering them for the first time, and everyone in between.

More details about the programme and location will be announced soon.
